Pointing to some darkened spots in one slab, Leigh Davis explained, “Some customers would say, ‘Please avoid that part,’ while others would say, ‘Be sure you include that part!’ It’s all a matter of individual taste.” Allowing customers to see an entire slab is an advantage not offered by discount retailers, she added. Customers who order from a discounter are sometimes surprised when the granite doesn’t look like the small sample they saw in a store.

After the customer selects the granite and type of edging, Bloomday cuts, finishes, and treats it with a 15-year sealant, then does the installation, which is guaranteed for the life of the product.

“We do everything we can to make the process simple and less stressful,” Davis said. We are not the least expensive, but we offer the best product and customer service possible.”
